You're elated when you finally emerge from the tall grass, and find yourself a good part of the way across the Great Field. There's still some distance to go until you reenter the trees of the forest, but at least you'll have something to look at other than tall blades of grass. The landscape from here to the trees looks particularly interesting, and varied. It's a relief, after so much solid green. Directly around you, small, silvery shrubs have grown. Their leaves are a silver-tinged teal, and some have tiny, sparkling white flowers. They're unlike anything you've seen before. So, too, is the Crystal Unicorn that approaches. The stallion walks slowly, and you aren't entirely sure he's even noticed you. Bits of mane drop over his eyes, and a luxurious tail cascades down behind him. His dark, shining coat, the arch of his neck, and the feathering above his hooves give him a noble appearance. He's beautiful. He stops, sniffing the air with a slight bob of his nose. He turns towards you, one delicate ear flicking in your direction. You, too, have stopped, unsure of what to make of the stallion. You can't bring yourself to speak, not before he does. Which he does not. He gives one slow, silent nod of his head, acknowledging you, and then moves on, slowly and gracefully weaving away through the silver bushes. Past the silver bushes
